Topper 1894 Broadleaf

Topper Cigar Company has released its new Topper 1894 Broadleaf and Shorty line extensions. These are cigars that were previewed at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show.

As the name indicates, the Topper 1894 Broadleaf uses a Broadleaf wrapper. The remainder of the blend features a Dominican binder and fillers consisting of Dominican-grown Connecticut Broadleaf. The cigars are available in four sizes:

  • Toro: 6 x 54 (SRP $10.50/cigar)
  • Corona: 6 x 44 (SRP $8.75/cigar)
  • Robusto: 4 x 50 (SRP $8.75/cigar)
  • Shorty: 4 1/4 x 43 (SRP $5.50/cigar)

The 1894 Broadleaf comes in 20-count boxes, with the exception of the 1894 Broadleaf Shorty that comes in 25-count boxes. The Toro, Corona, and Robusto sizes use a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper while the Shorty uses a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper.

Meanwhile, Shorty is now a standard size that is available in Topper’s 125th Anniversary, 1894, and 1894 Broadleaf lines. Each comes in the 4 /4 x 43 format:

  • 125th Anniversary Shorty (SRP $6.50/cigar)
  • 1894 Shorty (SRP $5.50/cigar)
  • 1894 Broadleaf Shorty (SRP $6.50/cigar)
