Luciano The Maker Heads to Stores

Luciano The Maker, the newest line from Luciano Meirelles and Constella Group, has begun shipping to retailers.

It’s a new core line that Meirelles developed with a focus on the difference between intention and execution. “In any field, there is a clear separation between those who think about doing something and those who actually do it,” he said in a press release. “That distinction is often overlooked, but it defines outcomes. The Maker was developed with that idea in mind.”

The blend uses a habano corojo 99 wrapper from an undisclosed country, Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed and Mexican San Andrés binders, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Meirelles calls it a medium-to-full-bodied cigar.

The cigars are made at Luciano Tabacos S.A. in Nicaragua and are offered in two sizes:

  • Luciano the Maker Toro (6 x 52) — $12.75 (Box of 20, $255)
  • Luciano the Maker Sublime (6 1/2 x 54) — $12>95 (Box of 20, $259)

This is the latest installment in a series of cigars that Meirelles created to explore human themes, and which dates back to July 2019 and Luciano the Traveler. That was followed in 2020 by Luciano the Dreamer. The company says that its Maria Lucia line continued to explore different perspectives within the same broader framework.

The cigars were previewed at the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show in April.

This is the second time that the company has used The Maker name. In May 2023, Meirelles and Rick Rodriguez of West Tampa Tobacco Co. created a limited-edition, store-exclusive cigar for FatAsh Cigar Lounge in Ashland, Ky. and its My Old Kentucky Herf event. This new line is completely separate from that collaboration.
