Orient Cigars has announced plans for two new lines, both of which will debut at the InterTabac 2026 trade fair in September.
La Nuit uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. At launch, it will be offered in two vitolas:
- Orient La Nuit Talitha (4 7/8 x 58) — €13 (Bundle of 10, €130)
- Orient La Nuit Rastaban (5 7/8 x 54) — €14 (Bundle of 10, €140)
The other line is Sahara Winds, which will debut in a lone size called Harmattan, a reference to the dry winds of West Africa. As for the cigar, it’s a 6 1/2 x 58 perfecto that is capped at both ends, which the company says means it can be smoked from either end, with each option offering a different experience. Blend-wise, it uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian habano binder and fillers from Nicaragua.
In Europe, the Orient Sahara Winds Harmattan has an MSRP of €15 per cigar.
Both lines are made at Tabacalera Las Villas in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Orient says the lines will be ready to ship at the conclusion of the InterTabac trade fair, which takes place Sept. 15-17 in Dortmund, Germany.
The company has distribution in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. It says that it expects the cigars to be offered in the U.S. next year.
