Kristoff Announces TAA 2026 Exclusive

Kristoff Cigars has announced that it will once again have an exclusive cigar made just for members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA).

The Kristoff TAA 2026 Exclusive is a 6 x 52 toro that uses a Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrapper, a Dominican binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The company calls it a medium-plus bodied cigar, “with decadent notes of dry cocoa, five spice, light notes of white pepper, and a sweet cocoa and a creamy finish.”

Production is limited to 500 boxes of 20 cigars, with Tabacalera Von Eicken S.R.L. in the Dominican Republic making the cigars. The Kristoff TAA 2026 Exclusive comes with MSRPs of $15 per cigar and $300 per box. The cigars are expected to begin shipping in late October or November.

The TAA will hold its annual meeting and trade show from Oct. 25 – 29 at Casa de Campo in La Romana, Dominican Republic. During the event, the organization holds two selling events, one known as the Dream Machine, where member retailers order collectively to secure larger discounts. The other is a more traditional trade show where orders are placed individually.

Typically, around a dozen manufacturers release new exclusive cigars for the retail members of the organization under the TAA Exclusive Series Program (ESP) banner. Those manufacturers agree to give a portion of the proceeds to the organization, a minimum of 50 cents per cigar.

This isn’t the only cigar that Kristoff has lined up for the TAA, as it will release its new Mildly Pistoff Kristoff line to the TAA ahead of a full release next March at the 2027 PCA Convention & Trade Show.
